Can you deliver Dry Hire Water Trucks to construction sites and if so, what is the cost?

If you cannot pick up the water truck from our north west Sydney depot, we can arrange delivery anywhere in Australia. Price can vary from $150 upward, depending on the destination.

Remember it is not uncommon for us to waive the delivery and pick up charge for longer term hire.

If I hire a Water Truck and it breaks down will I get a replacement in a timely manner?

If your water truck stops performing to your expectations, we will either replace the whole unit or send our break down unit to you with minimal delay, day or night - weekday or week ends

Here at Water Carts Direct we have full time qualified mechanics on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

I only have a car license so can I operate any of your water trucks?

We have a trailer mounted 2000 litre capacity self contained water cart that can be towed behind a car license vehicle. It comes complete with pump, hose and side sprayers, similar features to the larger models.

How difficult are your water trucks to operate?

No one supplies a water truck that is easier to operate than Water Carts Direct water trucks. A push button fully automatic transmission will only select a gear if the drivers foot is on the brake, and all water controls are at the drivers finger tips as ON / OFF switch's. It couldn't be easier. We also have a short water truck demonstration video you can watch.

Should I Dry Hire or Buy?

If the job has the potential to be on going, keep in mind that Water Carts Direct will deduct 25% of the hire from the agreed purchase price of the truck you hire. So if you hire it, like it and the work is ongoing, you can decide at any time to purchase the truck and receive 25% of your hire payout deducted from the purchase price.

Your Water Trucks may look good, but are they reliable?

The only components used that are not brand new is the actual cab chassis. All cab chassis are fully workshop checked, mechanical rectification work completed and painted back to original condition before having the new tank and equipment fitted. Buyers are invited to peruse the inspection report and the detailed rectification schedule available on each unit.

Why are your Water Trucks so well priced?

Water Carts Direct are affiliated with Bastian Sales Pty Ltd who source cab chassis units below wholesale cost. Our in house refurbishment process minimizes rectification costs and our years of experience in operating our own fleet of water trucks has allowed us to design a simpler, more cost effective design that produces all the features but a fraction of the expense and complexity of competitors models costing tens of thousands of dollars more.

Poly tanks? Are they any good?

We can use any tank material you want, but we choose poly because of its many advantages over steel which is heavier, corrodes over time, is difficult to repair and cracks in extreme off road conditions. Aluminum is even harder to repair and cracks as well. The only down side to poly is that it can taint the taste of drinking water and is no good in high temperature bush fighting applications, but we can supply fiberglass tanks at minimal extra charge which over comes these objections.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes we accept most credit cards and can extend a discounted rate for permanent and frequent credit card payers for water trucks. Please contact us to find out more.
